Arab Maritime Petroleum Transport Company (AMPTC)
Arab Maritime Petroleum Transport Company was established in January 1973 by the member countries of the Organisation of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC) in accordance with a decree of the Council of Oil Ministers of its Member States to provide outstanding quality and safe maritime transport services of hydrocarbon substances for the benefit of OAPEC and its members as well as to trade independently in the international market.
AMPTC owns and operates a fleet of eleven vessels – four crude oil tankers, four LPG carriers and three product carriers. The fleet is sanctioned by major oil companies and operates across the world including the United States.
