Hesham Khonji joined Mumtalakat in 2011 and currently serves as Senior Director - Risk & Portfolio Construction. 

Hesham has over 20 years of experience in the financial sector, rooted in portfolio management and executing investment strategies. Before joining Mumtalakat, he worked as a Portfolio Manager at Gulf International Bank and held various key roles at Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait. 

Hesham holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the American University of Beirut and is a CFA Charter Holder. He also serves on the boards of The Cranemere Group, Gulf Investment Corporation, and Gulf Hotels Group.
