Hesham Khonji joined Mumtalakat in 2011 and currently serves as Senior Director - Strategic Investments. He is responsible for overseeing the company’s indirect investment portfolio, investing across global equities, credit, hedge funds, and private markets. 

Hesham has over 20 years of experience in the financial sector, rooted in portfolio management and executing investment strategies. Before joining Mumtalakat, he worked as a Portfolio Manager at Gulf International Bank and held various key roles at Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait. 

Hesham holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the American University of Beirut and is a CFA Charter Holder. He also serves on the boards of The Cranemere Group, Gulf Investment Corporation, and Gulf Hotels Group.
