    HE Engineer Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed was appointed as Minister of Transportation in 2012 and as Minister of Transportation & Telecommunications in 2014. He is responsible for Bahrain’s transport infrastructure covering policy, regulation and the development and delivery of projects to meet the Kingdom’s future transportation, telecommunications and postal needs. Mohammed holds a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from the University of Bahrain and a Master’s Degree in International Project Management from Leeds University.

    Prior to his appointment as Minister of Transportation, he was the Minster of Cabinet Affairs from February 2011. He previously spent 8 years at the Economic Development Board leaving his role as Chief Operating Officer to become a Government Minister.
